ADAM DAWSON

Adam graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Strategic Management & Organization. Bringing his education and passions together, Adam discovered his niche in the visual arts and founded Phlatout Media and Are You Social in 2015. Never one to sit still, he continues to develop and expand his skills in visual media by combining his passions for vehicles, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and everything in between. Are You Social is Adam’s effort to capture the moments we try to remember, and present the excitement in this world.

MIA CARTWRIGHT

Mia graduated with a Marketing degree from the University of Lethbridge. With her passion for social media and branding, she works to develop brand strategies that support clients in meeting their goals. In addition to working with her clients, Mia oversees and works within each AYS department to align success. Beyond her role at AYS, Mia enjoys health & wellness, interior design, and spending time at her family cottage in BC.

As a Content Creator with Are You Social, Tanner has diverse knowledge and experience in photography, videography, marketing objectives & social strategies. Having more than 5 years of experience and engagement in the extreme sports community, Tanner is passionate about creating diverse and unique content each day. With his love for snowboarding and motorcycles, you can often find Tanner on the slopes or on bike trips.

Andy graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts, honours degree in Social & Cultural Anthropology. She attended field schools in China and West Africa that fueled her desire for travel and visual & digital ethnographic research. Her photography and videography work takes her to Europe and the Caribbean capturing Heavy Metal festivals, and North America capturing motorcycle tours and rallies. In her spare time, Andy volunteers her ethnographic research skills to a variety of digital forums with members reaching over 35,000.

EMMA NEUFELD

Emma graduated from Concordia University of Edmonton with a Degree in Business with a double emphasis in Human Resources and Marketing. Her passion for social media stems from its ability to create and maintain meaningful relationships. When Emma isn’t at work or on social media, you can find her indulging in her hobbies of food and photography. Whether it’s conjuring up a new recipe or waiting to capture that perfect moment, she likes to find new ways to make everyday life fun and creative.

SKYLAR ROTH

Another Red Deer lifer, Skylar attended Red Deer College studying Education and kinesiology and playing soccer. With his passion for the outdoors and travelling the world manifesting inside of him, Skylar saw an opportunity to merge his love for adventuring with a new hobby: photography. Before joining the Are You Social team, Skylar supported himself through college doing freelance and brand ambassador work. Since discovering his passion for the visual arts and storytelling, Skylar is developing his skill set in filmmaking with plans to document his wild mountain expeditions. In addition to film and photography, Skylar enjoys skiing, ice and rock climbing, running, and spending time with his dog, Duke.
