Why do I need an 'Ads Budget' in addition to the Social Media Management Package?We want to see your business achieve its goals just as much as you do. The Social Media Management Package covers your dedicated account management, whereas the Ads Budget is the amount you spend on Social Media Sponsored Advertising Campaigns. This is paid directly to the social media platform (such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.). Are You Social does not take any part of this budget. Sponsored advertisements are tailored to your marketing objectives and are an effective and efficient way to reach your audience, share your message, and drive sales.

What if my company already has an in-house Marketing/Social Media Manager?Fantastic! Many of our clients have a social media manager in place, however, they know the role isn't limited to wearing just one hat, so we offer a variety of support services to help those with limited time. If your social media manager needs assistance with content creation, sponsored ads, strategic guidance, photography, videography, analytics, brand ambassadors, or influencer agreements, we are here to support your business.

How long are contracts with Are You Social?Social Media Management contracts are typically 6 months - 1 year in length with option to renew. Custom contracts are available in some circumstances. Contact us to learn more about how we work with each client to tailor contracts to their specific needs.

Are you hiring?There are currently no Full-Time Social Media Manager or Content Creator positions available. However, we do accept applications in case something opens up. We may have casual Content Creator positions open during the summer season. These positions are typically on-call and weekend only. Please follow us on social media for most immediate postings @areyousocialcorp. Summer Internships: 8-12 week internships may be available again in the 2020 summer season (May/June-August) to college and university students or recent graduates (Business, Marketing, Communications, Motion Picture Arts or related field only). What is Content Curation?At Are You Social, when we say "Content Creation" we are typically referring to photography, videography, and editing. However, "Content Creation" can also include our creative and technical writing services, which we refer to as "Content Curation." While we typically perform all aspects of the social media management job, there are some businesses that come to Are You Social with a Social Media MANAGER on staff, but lack a Content Creator who is skilled in copywriting, asset matching (effectively pairing images with post text), asset curation (sourcing images when a "content bank" or custom photography/videography is unavailable), and micro-macro strategy. Or, maybe their lead Social Media Manager is stacked and needs a temporary assistant. In these cases, we employ an Are You Social Social Media Manager. That is, a member of our team who is adept at all the ins and outs of platform management who is also a skilled photography and/or videography and able to curate a strategic editorial series of social media posts. Further, these posts are pre-formatted for all applicable channels: Facebook, Instagram, IGTV, LinkedIn, Google My Business, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Stories, and even ads. How do you 'Create Content'?Typically, a prospective client will contact us to let us know something new and exciting is happening at their company and they would like one of our Content Creators to capture the magic so they can share it with the world. A date and time for the shoot is determined, and an estimate of how much time is required is given within the client's budget. On the big day, an AYS Content Creator is dispatched to the location and captures the photo and or video required to tell the story. For larger projects, 2 or 3 content Creators may be required. We have plenty of equipment, including state of the art Sony digital camers, DJI gimbal stabilizers, UAV/Drones, studio lighting, and more. Once all the necessary photos and footage is captured, the Content Creator returns to AYS and edits the captured material. A draft is provided to the client for previewing (revisioins may be requested, although most of our clients are ecstatic with the product). Once the video has been approved, finishing touches and polishing tie together the masterpiece and the final cut is delivered. Depending on the client's needs and contract, the content is posted and curated across social media, with additional sponsored advertising campaigns implemented to ensure the target audience views the masterpiece. Depending on the breadth, depth, and complexity of the project, typical turn around times vary from within a couple hours to a couple weeks. Small photo projects are typically available same day.
