What does a Social Media Management Package include?Our packages are flexibly designed to best suit the needs of your business’s goals and marketing objectives. Upon meeting with key stakeholders of the business and reviewing the brand’s specific challenges and objectives, we will suggest the service package that will best help meet the objectives, solve the challenges, and exceed expectations. Each package includes account setup and optimization, social media audit, content strategy, copywriting, content curation, sponsored advertisement management, platform support, account monitoring, customer service, competitive analysis, and analytic reports — all of which are as unique as your brand and needs.

Why do I need an 'Ads Budget' in addition to the Social Media Management Package?Our mission to is help your business achieve its social media marketing and advertising goals. The Social Media Management Package covers your dedicated account management, whereas the Ads Budget is the amount directed to Social Media Sponsored Ad Campaigns ("often referred to as "boosted posts"). This money is paid directly to the respective social media platform (such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.); Are You Social does not receive any percentage of this budget. Sponsored Ad Campaigns are tailored based on the business's marketing objectives and are an effective and efficient way to reach target audiences, amplify brand news, launch products and services, generate engagement, and increase conversions. A dedicated Ads Budget help ensure the business's social media content achieves it's goals.

What if my company already has an in-house Marketing/Social Media Manager?Fantastic! Many of our clients have a marketing manager and/or a social media manager, however, they know the role isn't limited to wearing just one hat, so we offer a variety of support services to help those with limited time. If your social media manager needs assistance with content creation, sponsored ads, strategic guidance, photography, video production and editing, KPI & Metrics analysis, we are here to help support your business' team.

How long are contracts with Are You Social?Social Media contracts are typically 1 year in length with option to renew. Content Creation services (Photography and Video Production & Editing) are available as part of Social Media package's retainer, or on a project-to-project basis. Custom contracts are available in some circumstances. Contact us to learn more about how we work with each client to provide services and contracts to their needs.

Are you hiring?Currently, we have no full or part time Social Media Manager or Content Creator positions available. However, we do accept applications if a position becomes available. During the busy summer events season, we may have casual Content Creator (photographer and videographer) positions become available on a project-to-project basis. These positions are typically on-call and weekend only. These positions are filled through our roster of approved content creators. Internships: currently, there are no internship openings for 2025. To submit an application in the event a position becomes available, or to be added to our roster of Approved Content Creators, please email your resume and direct links to your portfolio and Instagram profile to info@areyousocial.ca. with "Attention: HR" in the subject line. What is Content Curation?At Are You Social, when we mention "Content Creation," we’re typically referring to photography, videography, and editing. But Content Creation can also encompass our creative and technical writing services, which we refer to as Content Curation. Some businesses approach us with a Social Media Manager already on staff but lack a skilled Content Creator who specializes in copywriting, asset matching (pairing images with post text), asset curation (sourcing images when a content bank or custom media isn’t available), and both micro and macro strategy development. Or, they might need temporary support when their lead Social Media Manager is stretched thin. In these cases, we provide a unique solution: an Are You Social Media Manager, supported by a dedicated team of content creators. This expert handles platform management while collaborating directly with our content creators, allowing us to curate a strategic editorial series of social media posts. These posts are pre-formatted and optimized for all major platforms, including Meta (Facebook), Instagram, LinkedIn, Google My Business, X, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and even paid ads. How Content Creation Works at Are You SocialAt Are You Social, we partner with clients to capture the magic of their stories and share it with the world. Here’s how the process works: 1. Initial Contact Prospective clients reach out to let us know about an exciting event or milestone at their company. They want our expert Content Creators to capture the essence of the moment for sharing across their digital platforms. 2. Planning the Shoot Together, we determine the date and time of the shoot. An estimate of the required time and budget is provided, ensuring everything aligns with the client’s needs. 3. The Shoot On the big day, an AYS Content Creator arrives on location to capture the photos or videos needed to tell the story. For larger-scale projects, a team of 2–3 creators may be dispatched. We bring cutting-edge equipment, including Sony digital cameras, DJI gimbal stabilizers, UAV/drones, studio lighting, and more, to ensure we’re ready for any scenario. 4. Post-Production After the shoot, our Content Creator returns to the AYS studio to edit and refine the captured material. A draft is shared with the client for review. While revisions are always an option, most of our clients are thrilled with the first version. 5. Final Touches & Delivery Once approved, finishing touches and polishing transform the draft into a masterpiece. The final cut is then delivered to the client. 6. Distribution & Promotion Depending on the client’s contract, the content is posted and curated across their social media platforms. Additionally, sponsored advertising campaigns can be implemented to ensure the target audience engages with the content. 7. Turnaround Times Small photo projects: Typically available the same day. Larger video projects: Delivered within 10 business days, depending on the project’s scope and seasonal availability.
